The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is finally here, bringing Tom Holland back as Peter Parker after a five-year gap since No Way Home.
The newly released footage teases a darker and more complex chapter for Spider-Man, as Peter struggles to rebuild his life after the world forgot his identity.
A New Team-Up
The trailer reveals that Spider-Man won’t be alone this time. Holland’s Peter Parker teams up with Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and Frank Castle, aka the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), as he faces a growing threat in New York City.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day Story Details
Set after the events of No Way Home, the film follows Peter as he continues protecting the city anonymously. However, while investigating a series of crimes, he uncovers a deeper mystery tied to his past.
The trailer also hints at physical challenges linked to a “spider life cycle,” adding a new layer to Peter’s journey.
Zendaya returns as MJ, though her role is expected to be smaller. Other cast members include Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Michael Mando.
MCU Future Setup
Brand New Day will also serve as a prequel to Avengers: Doomsday, making it a key film in Marvel’s Phase Six storyline.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), the movie marks Holland’s final standalone Spider-Man film under his current contract.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31.
